I certainly hope not Mike. . . (cause the terminals to fail) I use 16 gauge wire for all my speakers. What gauge wire do they use for power and ground?

It looks like 12 gauge. The amp has all the wire you need already attached, including fuse holder.

Thank you. Exactly what I was looking for. I will swap out the 8 ga. power for the 10 ga power this evening.

Just checked my tracking number, my BT7.1's and my 2180 are sitting at my house, come on 4 o'clock. Seems like something that shouldn't take more than an hour or so should it? I'm fairly proficient in car stereos, never had the shark nose off though.

Lol. . . If you've never taken the fairing off it's going to take more than an hour.

Oh come on, the fairing is held by 4 bolts. It should take no more than 2 minutes to remove the fairing (along with the 3 screws holding in the shield). Probably the only challenging part is holding the fairing while disconnecting the headlight. (also reinstalling the fairing, the lower left bolt is always a P.I.T.A.

I've had a batwing off a bunch of times, that one is easy, this is a road glide, which I have never done before.

Your thinking the batwing fairing like ours, the shark nose road glide fairing is a little more work to get off and a real pain to get back on.
