Gan,That sounds like a KICK AZZ system, amp is small enough to velcro to the back of the tour pack on the vertical surface.
Thanks Mike. . I'm brainstorming all the time. Hell I can't let Nutz, GP and Pioneer have all the fun. They all have kick *** systems and I'm just trying to catch up. . .lol On top of that I change my system just about every year. I figured I'd go all in next year. I'm lovin my infinity's and Pioneers right now but I think I'm boarderline ADHD. . .LOL!!!
I really love my full Power of my Biketronics system; however, I can't help but notice that it's very high in treble. I guess that's obvious since it's so loud. I really wish that there was more bass. I've said it before the Pioneer 6x9's are good but gets drowned out by the Biketronic system.
You'll have to splice it together. You'd never be able to get what you already have into the spring terminal.
I had 16 ga. speaker wire which fit in the 4180 spring loaded terminals (push down on bottom of the terminal with a small screwdriver and it releases the speaker wire). What I couldn't figure out was how to release the attached power and ground wires which I just spliced (used quick connect spade type connectors) into my existing wire harness, so OP it can be done. Ask BT how to release the power and ground wires and you can just plug those in also with out splicing. I think the power wire they put on the 4180 is 12 ga. so I don't know if the 8 ga. you have will fit, good questions for Bill!

Borderline, hell I'm full blown ADHD... LMAO ... If I was a youngster they have me on all buzzed up on Ritalin!!
I'd be wary about sticking too big a diameter into those spring terminals. Just because it physically fits, it doesn't mean it's a good idea.
We use those types of terminals in the newer machines at my work. I've found that the bigger diameter wire will compress the springs enough, to where after awhile, they lose their ability to create a tight connection. That will cause arcing and heat, and ultimately failure.

BT uses 18 ga. wire in their speaker wire harness, so I guess that would be what they would recommend, seemed small to me. I didn't use their harness and wired my speakers with 16 ga. I don't think the difference between 18 ga. to 16 ga. will cause the terminals to fail. I did not have to "force" the 16 ga. wire into the terminals. Chunngle when you talk to BT ask them which ga. wire to use. I actually wish BT would use screw terminals on their amp.

I do believe the 16 ga. speaker wire will be fine. I am concerned about the 8 ga. power though. I ordered the amp today just before quitting time but was not able to talk to Bill. I will call him in the morning to find out for sure. I would like to have the power wire in before it arrives so it is just a quick swap out when it gets here. I am hoping to have it in before my trip at the end of the month and I only have this week to work on it. Thank you to all for your information and advice.
