Its at the point now to where I dont question my wife's spending and she doesnt question mine. Just so long as the bills are paid and money goes into saving. As long as those two are taken care of and everyone has everything that they need and most of what they want, i can pretty much do as I please when it comes to the toys.

amen! both have great jobs, both add to savings, both pay the bills, both put food on the table. I do pretty much what I want within reason and so does she. Last week I sent her to Lowes for a water filter for the fridge and she showed back up with the Lowes truck in tow with a new fridge. I didn't bitch.. Hell that's one more beer box for the garage! LOL

Did the new fridge have a water filter in it? Maybe you didn't give her specific enough instructions.

ironically enough it did.. but it's literally half the size of the old filter and requires replacement twice as often and is 1/3 more expensive than the old filter. Didn't understand the logic behind the decision but is what it is. :-)

I love my wife, but I've found that logic and estrogen rarely go together.

She needed a water filter. The new fridge had one. To her, it was the right decision. That's why you needed to be more specific.

Thats funny are wifes must hang out are water line was leaking on are ice maker 3 weeks ago. I told her to get it fixed. I was on the road for work got home that Friday night new fridge was in its place. I said whats up with that she looked at me with a smiled and said its not leaking. That gos back to I had a wide glide that the primary leaked and one day I went to HD to get a gasket and came home with a street glide. I told her the same thing it doesn't leak. I found out just how good her memory was .
