Does anyone have any ideas on installing radio hand controls on a 09 Road King Classic?
I am sure it can be done but whats the cost and headache involved?
Could I use controls from a Ultra, SG or something similar? Don't want to go to HD cuz they would charge me $$$$$$$$$$$ OR they would say it can't be done I'm guessing

tonetls. what I would do if in your shoes is find someone with take off ultra handlebars that has all the controls already on them. There is a guy that lives up the road from me, streetglidewalt on here that has a set. Going this route will be a LOT more cost effective and a LOT less troublesome for you. Take your controls off, put these on already wired up and you're done.

Exactly what I was thinking.....thanks for the info
Controls alone are not going to get you there. All the controls do on an Ultra is tell the software in the radio what to do. You could put the controls on an Road King, but you would still need some type of interface. Maybe try a PAC Audio interface? This one sounds interesting:
