I got my catalog. Interesting. However, I cannot seem to get a real world estimate of torque increases possible from 2200-4000 rpms. I currently run a 124 with woods tw8 cams hpi 55 fi, s+s 4 5/8 crank with a thunderheader exhaust and a baker dd6 transmission. I'm at 130 torque max now around 4k. Current comp is 10.5/1
It seems the procharger will not do much at lower rpm or can it be specially set up to hit very hard right at 2200 rpms?
If I could KNOW that I could at 30-40 pounds of torque early, this is a no brainer. THANKS GUYS!
I just got off the phone with Frank Drago (Drago's Bike Works), who is our resident world class expert on the ProCharger; he is headed back from his tuner in Wisconsin with two supercharged bikes just completed. I mentioned your post, and he asked that I let you know he will post his thoughts tomorrow evening. Or, you could give him a call after 3PM CDT with your questions (815) 765-1790; if he doesn't pick up, just leave a message and he definitely will call you back. Hope this helps!!
You are most welcome!! I bought my kit thru Frank, as do most on this forum who elect to buy...he is without a doubt the easiest and most knowledgeable of performance professionals that I have ever dealt with...probably why he is ranked second world-wide in ProCharger sales. Others on this forum like Fast Bagger and Blown Harley will also attest to Frank's skills and uncommon customer assistance.
Just did a Jims 131 with Tman 662 cam in last At Jamies place on the Dyno the bike made 192 hp and 165/168 tq. I will have dynos sheets to post in a few days on this motor.
Again this is a stock Jims 131 with Tman 662 cam Dragos bike works 110 psi injectors and PC5 only and Dragos bike works true duals and mufflers....
I did all the work and Jamie from FuelMoto tuned for me last night. He did a great job on the tune.
This a 09 bagger Makes 192 HP and 165tq
The blower can add around 40 /80 horse power. From where you are at I would say with your build I can not run a lot of boost about 10/11psi boost you should be around 175/185 hp and about the 155/165 tq Thats what I am seeing right now on these builds. When I post the dyno sheet you will see the Tq where it starts The blowers come in hard right around 2600 rpm.
Give me a call with any ???????? I will be more than happy to talk>>>>>>>>
