Default Spring

Is not cooperating !! Got 1 inch of snow last night just outside Windsor,Ontario. I’ve only managed a couple of small runs around town just to blow the stink off. Lol. I put Legend Revo A’s on a the bike a couple of weeks ago and they are phenomenal. Looking forward to a longer run with them. Hopefully soon. Any of my fellow Canuck’s having a better spring. 😎

Not much better in Manitoba I've had one short ride of 70 km. It's next weekend before it really shows a temp in the double digits.

No rides yet here (south-west of Barrie, Ontario), still to cold and wet. Roads aren’t to bad, most of the salt and sand has been blown off and rain has taken care of the rest. Long range forecast for mid-April is great! Hoping that the weather forecasters are right.

I'm out in the Kootenays of BC. I had designs on insuring for April 15th, but the forecast isn't cooperating. I have a LePera Maverick that's not gonna break itself in...

Loooong winter this winter. Now I hear of new Covid variants in Shanghi and UK. FFS - hope they don't shut it all down again. I've got some plans this summer. Last two have sucked...

Another Manitoban here.. I hate winter.. A snowfall around now would really put me into a state of depression.

I live in the country and all the highways around me are dry. I managed my first ride on April 1st and went out for my second ride yesterday (3rd). I've managed 85 miles so far. But it's been very cold. Was 3c (37F) yesterday. Had to bundle up. But it was worth it for the wind therapy that I've been missing all winter.

I'm looking at the calendar in April / October. I'm only insuring for six months.
April 15 to October 15th was my initial plan, but I dunno if after the October Thanksgiving [October 10th] I'll be riding anyhow...
Maybe April 11 or 12th for insurance..?

Geez it's the 4th already. Some wind therapy would be nice right about now - even if it is only +5ēC

Surrey BC, I had a couple of nice "cold" rips in mid March. This Wednesday and Thursday look "good" I will put another 2 day permit on and wait for a stretch of nice weather to insure. It has been a long, wet, cold falwintrsping. Summer is comin...

I'm just west of Barrie and haven't gotten out yet, hopefully by next week as the need to scratch that itch is getting hard to deal with... lol

I ordered the Legend Revo-A for my Dyna just need to install them and a few other items I have accumulated over the winter months

Cheers all, safe riding !!

The Good: I got my insurance today. Only 6 months as living in the East Kootenays the season is short.
The Bad: It was up to +3ēC today, Still cold. Colder tomorrow.
The Ugly: It might snow tonight/tomorrow

I guess soon enough there will be a heat dome...
