You may find that hard to believe but i'm not willing to take the chance with how much cash I have into this rocket ship. Also I have not seen to many stock engines with compression releases, so that would be a very visible indicator...
Other than the 10's of thousand's of 103's HD has sold in the last couple years with factory installed compression releases...
On a different note you lucky SOB 311.00 a year I wish!
I always did think it was a pretty good value considering what I hear other paying. I hope you find somebody to get you squared away without hitting you over the head.

If you can't tell the difference between a hopped up 113 inch and a stock 103...Probably time to leave the coffee shop strip your chaps off and learn a little. Thanks for your helpful comment.
Try TD Bank (Primmus Insurance). Switched from my long time insurer on a 08 Ultra and went from $1780/year with replacement coverage and full comprehensive to $1,031.00 this year with same deductibles ($1,000). I am in Ontario where our rates are normally much higher than the rest of the country so yours will likely vary. If I add my cars to the policy my premium will go down about $200. I listed that I had $5K worth of upgrades and they were good with that. Hope it helps.
I have always figured that the Canadians getting ripped on Ins. is due to the Gov. not wanting to cover them with the Natl' health care...............................Look out when Obamacare is done with us.
i have statefarm. i have only told them the info from the title.. never mentioned anything about a salvage title. had a 65(beetle) railbuggy, insured as a car, lots of cars with engine swaps, lots of custom and over built cycles. it looks stock form the outside. they are not going to tear the engine down and measure the bore and stroke after a claim... i even had a 93 F150 with a 12" lift kit. i never mentioned the mods when i got the insurance. when i rolled it over 2 months later, they cut me a check for $6500. like $2500 for the truck, and the rest was to cover the lift kit and wheels. then they let me keep the wheel/tires as long as i put some rusty steel junkyard wheels on in place of them. they did drop me for a couple years after that accident though, i went rite back 8 years ago...
wow dillenger you got an attitude man! Guys are only tryin to help and u bein newish runnin your mouth!!! Figure it out for yourself einstein if your so smart i cant believe you dont know. Teflon
Ya you are prob right being from the states and all with different policies completely....Well I am from Canada, Alberta to be specific. I was with TD Meloche and they said no right away and asked lot's of questions about engine and alterations. They sent it to the under writers and came back denied due to engine and paint.
So I called around and finally found a few companies that will insure it. I don't know if it's different in Alberta with private insurance than it is in BC with gov insurance. All I do know it was a pain in my ***.
My buddy just brought his ride from an 88 to a 95 called his insurance and they denied him also. SO he went with the same company as me I believe the actual company is Jevco.
When I lived in Ontario, Kingsway quoted me $1600/yr in 2010. Primmum charged me $1000 then $1150 in 2012....any you only ride 6 months/yr in Ontario. Never had a claim or even a speeding ticket. Here in AZ I pay About $550 to ride all year.
Many years ago I was with Jevco. They did a lot of what they called 'high risk' policies - bikes & planes.

There was never any mouth running there tough guy...maybe a little sarcasm, I am sorry your feelings got hurt. Go back to the coffee shop and tell your war stories. Really good observation though I don't have many posts.
To all the peeps that helped out thank you... To Teflon take a flying leap.
Anything different than what is on your title will scare them… And if you are buying US insurance please do yourself a favor and make sure you have lots of uninsured motorist coverage. I am dealing with that debacle right now...
