Default Help Identifying This Old Frame

Given to me by an old family member, I am pretty sure its oem but has no numbers whatsoever. I know its a straight leg but thats it. Just looking to get a general idea of what year this may be from.

Somebody made a chopper years ago. It appears the numbers were either ground off or hidden behind a lot of filler. Not much help, but someone will know soon.

Yeh, lots of filler and modifications, not stock. Look around for any numbers or forging symbols and post pics. Check the rear axel plates, they look unmolested.

What are you intentions? What were you told it was??

Thanks for the advice just found these numbers under a bit of paint! Looks to say xe-7 01F or 0iF? leads me to think maybe a 1940s frame?
So I actually have a few of these and am looking to sell this one. Family member who gave them to me just called them "straight legs".

The fastest way is to scrape the paint off the portion of the upper engine mount tab on the right side where its overlaid on the backbone. Look for a Letter like an F and a number like a 5 which would be 6th month of 1945 for example. Other wise you need to dig out some bondo to check other forgings. The right rear axle tab will also have numbers like the left that says XE-7, there will be a number after that either single or double digits. Then we can help more.

Ok so here's what I managed to get.
Not a great photo of rear right axel but it looks to say xe-6
found some numbers/letters on the backbone obviously can make out BK and to the bottom left of the BK under the paint I can make out a clear 2 and possibly a 5 before the 2 so 52? and just to the left of those numbers looks to be a letter maybe a F or an E+
sorry again for the not great photos its starting to rain here so I needed to make it quick.

I suspect its a Duo-glide frame that's had an OEM hard tail back half put on it. Im basing this on the front legs that have never had sidecar loops on them.
