Hello shovhd, say i found a spun aluminium rim on E bay For a 140 $ it has a dent in it but i think its repairable are you interested ? let me know your e-mail address & ill send you the e-bay auction , other wise hows it going with your restoration ? mines almost done...

Hey Troy. Mine is coming along slowly. Just taking the frame in for blasting and powder coating this week. The real work will start in the fall when the motor and trans goes in for rebuild. I hope to be done by next spring. I’ll pm my email. Thanks and I will check that out.

hi shovhd, did you receive the disk rear wheel from California ? were you able to get it repaired yet ? hope your build is going well , i still have to install my new belt drive and buy a few parts for my clutch and buy a new battery...

Hey Troy, yes I got the wheel and it is down at Woody’s Wheel Works in Colorado for straightening now. Thanks for the heads up on it. One day we’ll have to talk about the fender emblem again. Have a great day.

hi Shovhd, have you ben able to get any answer back from Mr.lexus about the paint ? I was thinking about a trade , when you get some paint , i could send send you a Medallion for a few oz. of paint , so my painter could match it , how does that sound ? their must be a be a way to get this color somehow, other people have done it but it seams to be a a real good kept secret !! any way hope your build is going well...

up date on the paint, i was able to get the paint code from another forum member..you can check out Shoved's build progress in " 1983 fxdg disc glide rebuild / restore " thread
