Anybody tried this one? Using a dyna engine in aftermarket softail frame. I bought a Daytec Goliath RSD softail frame. I haveSuperglideengine. I'mwondering if I can use the Dyna engine and what modifications I wouldhave to make to bolt it in and to bolt up the transmission.
Of course theres the If you have enough money and patience you can do anything.............but the answer to youre question is NO..........................theres not that many frame options outthere for dyna motors......atlas.......theyre pretty pricey.......................LO................... .....
Is a street bob a dyna style drive train(haven't seen one )? If it is you would have to find a company to make the frame for you . I don't think that is going to happen being a dyna style drive train mounts at the swing arm . You could use your engine but would have to buy a primary drive and trans .
EDIT- sorry guys, I didn`t notice the date when I read the thread.
what year Dyna? The Evo dynas used the same motor so yes that will work. The Twin Cam motors up to 2005 will work if you buy the adaptor to fit EVO softail frame mounts. 2006-up motors are different all together.
first with torch, drinder and welder everything fits.As for boltin no.If your half *** with above tools and have place to mount frame and bolt down and the align the power train right it shouldn't be a problem.
