Default Weak click, no start

Hi, it’s an Ultima Softail, it won’t start and I hear a weak “click” when I push the starter button; but it starts when I use the push button solenoid.
Is it a bad main breaker? If not, what should I look for? Thanks!

You are STILL having starter issues with this thing? Have you ever solved the issues that you had in your other threads, or is this still the same problem?

No battery tender? What's the condition of the battery?

Battery is brand new and has 350 CCA, it’s not the battery… what can cause a “click”? Is there a relay somewhere that controls the starter?

Could be a bad breaker. Without knowing your setup it's hard to say. It's a custom build? No manual? Fully charged, tested battery?

Sound like you checked all wires and cables, try this. I had the same problem and it was the starter switch.

Read the voltage at the small wire that goes on the starter solenoid when the start button is pressed.

Do not disconnect the wire when doing this check.

What is the voltage?

OK so I connected the starter solenoid wire directly to the battery plus, and the starter worked.
the starter works well.
I checked and found that the “click” comes from the control box - see pictures.
It comes from one of the relays.
does anyone have experience with it? Can I buy a similar box? Or can I bypass it in a simple way?
