[QUOTE=papagotwheels;22220611]Well, I finally got some parts in the barn. Frame, front and rear wheels, front end, 79 shovel from a superglide, ratchet top 4-speed, oil tank and a few headlight buckets. Real good start. "Dry fit" everything to see how things fit and look. Not much room for oil tank and battery holder. I got an oil tank that will hold a battery but no room to get the battery in or out without removing the tank. Frame is too narrow under the seat.
I need to find a solution to that. Need a gas tank and rear fender. I think I'll get that seat pan covered and use it.
Ghetto Blaster has a really unique bike...Mounting the battery on the side might be an option for you that could eliminate a few issues with space.
Suggestion time, got all that room behind the trans, stuff a custom battery box down in there and go with a round oil tank, that frame really is not configured to take a horseshoe tank and you'll have get real creative figuring out and making supports for the back of it. I see stuff like on facebook marketplace fairly regular and there's a few guys in the midwest making oil tanks and the little hard to figure out mounts and stuff on facebook to.
