Way I hear it… each piece of tape adds a horsepower and the bungee is what replaced the get back WIP in the Northeast.

Road trip with a bunch of friends, about 7 AM pulling out of our Hotel in Floyd Virginia. Going around the hotel was like 6 Stop signs, no traffic at all I am leading and I roll through the first 5. Last one there is a car coming and I stop, guy behind me didn't realize it and his front left highway bar went right into my bag. Guys behind me said it folded up and then just popped!!! The lid and hinge stayed with the outside of the bag, the backside stayed on the bike and the front and back where shards of ABS. Bungee got me to breakfast that happened to have a NAPA next door. Another buddy goes inside and finds a roll of black duct tape. In parking lot we add some to the outside of the bag and away we go with bungee as pictured. That night we used the entire roll on the inside and some more on the outside. Bag was on the bike for another 6 months, zero issues and no bungee chord. Duct tape for the win.

Well got the wire thru the frame for the Accell rectifier and mounted which I was told no longer make . And weird thing as I couldn't get the flashers on the Badlands turn signal to work ,as they would light up and turn off after 7 sec like it's suppose too ,but no flash! So I put a NEW Wagner flasher in 2 prong and still nothing . So went down to the parts store chain and purchased another one as had power on the hot side and I could manual make it flash ! Put the new one in and still nothing ! Took the rear fender back off and checked the wiring .Dam this is getting old ! So, for the hell of it I go into my 32 Ford Roadster and turn my blinkers on and they work so I rob it from there and put it in the Harley ! Guess what they WORK ! So that's 3 flashers bad ones right out of the box !!!

Got the spoiler/faring on hooked up with the rectifier in it as it's suppose to direct the air thru it and cool the bottom of the engine !

Double checking the wiring make sure it's all conected right on the Badlands unit one more time as now 2 hours on these turn signals

The people at Badland now Namz where really great trying to help me figure out he problem too ! As they laughed about the instructions as they looked hand drawed .1996

Now that I have the wiring working may I can move forward again . Putting stuff back together . I sound like a broken record ! But the reward of seeing it come back together makes me want to get it done and put the bad memories behind me and move forward ! This is a mind struggle as it's hard to describe the past history of this and most will not understand other than our veterans !
Working on the dash that I made back in 1995-6 as put the turbo gauge in and hade to get a new speedo ofr it as it was all dented up

It was cheaper to buy a new one than sending it back and have them fix it as the shipping there and back was more expensive than the new one as a shame theres only 180 miles on it

Here's a question for ya all, looking to put a Tach on the handle bars ! Was thinking about a 2 5/8" Auto meter #2893 but they say it's for 4-6-8 cylinders Is there a kit to change the pulse signal or have a another idea ? Would like to stay with the 2 5/8" size if possible or 2 " no bigger . As it would be electrical not mechcanical . Your help is very much appreiacted .
