Silly Biker, you can’t hold the weight of a Harley upright using peanut butter.

In between the touch up and drying of the paint was looking for the rear pegs but they seem to be missing as well as the front controls as the master cylinder and shifter missing with the brake cable and fittings ! Thought I got it all back but didn't .So ordered some new front controls w/master cylinder
Making sure they fit the controls
Making sure they fit the controls and you can see I polished the end of the foot peg and took off the lathe marts on the end of the foot peg as to the brake side as I didn't get to that one yet !
Took them boothof the forward foot controls off and polished them more as they really didnt have the finish as the rest of the aluminium parts
Took them both off, the forward foot controls off and polished them more as they really didn't have the finish as the rest of the aluminium parts as you can see the lathe spin marks on the end of the foot peg in this picture

Found these old Arlan Ness foot pegs from about 30 years ago as they have been in the cabinet from one of my other builds that I didnt use

So they match the flames on the tank and front fender so what the hay why not ! They where free from the cabinet !!!LOL

Now just have to find another one of these fork caps from Arlan Ness as he made the forks ! Called them up and was told to send pics as they dont make them any more and they will look around and see if they can find me one ! Nice people up there !

Well I thought I was doing good when I went to hook up the shifter forward controls as the shifter rod didn't match up to the transmission or the forward controls ! Well come to find out the bracket that bolts to the spline on the transmission was on backwards as I never took it off ! Guess the people that stole it messed with it. Also found out you can not slide the bracket off and turn it around as there no clearance to do it . So pull the belt drive off and the inner case .
so made some new spacers and took off a little material on the turn buckels as the forward controls are a little different than the original ones that I didn't get back .

Not much clearance as the rod runs under the horn and the fuel pump and other stuff

It works and time to put all the stuff back on

Well got it all back together and it shifts ! That's what I get for not double checking on stuff as taking it for granted . Now back to the wiring ! as missing a bracket for the relays for the starter and circuit braker as fits between the oil tank and rear fender splash guard as it's made out of stainless

Didn't relieze that Crane Cams are out of business ! So wiring this back up has been a lot of researching wiring diagrams ! Not been a very production week but it's done and back to painting Saturday !

Just going to say that the turbo is cool ,but it has been a challege trying to remember stuff that I had to make for it to make it work ! I'm sure as It goes on I'll remeber at 2:00 am waking up thinking I remember that or I can make this to solve that problem ! Gee
Turbo pain !
Turbo pain !
Hard to see but you can see the spacers that I had to make to move the forward controls out to clear the turbo and not incuding the shifter rod on back pictures as well as spacers for that too !
