Can I get some recommendations of any good chopper sites, if they exsist. Just educating myself to some of the pros and cons in my spare time. Found a good Big Dog site. Some day hope to get a chopper. Almost swapped my '08 for a Proper Chopper sweet bike but no exactly what I wanted. I have my eye on a Swift Barchopper but the guy wants too much. So I look on Ebay and try to read what I can.
As far as Builders... Roland Sans, Jesse Rooke, Billy Lane, Indian Larry Legacy/Gasoline Alley, Kendall Johnson, Russel Mitchell (or is it Miller?)... The list goes on.
Production "Choppers," which is, in itself, an oxymoron... Big Dog, BMC, Hellbound Steel, American Iron Horse, Thunder Mountain, Big Bear... etc etc etc.
clubchopper.com It is currently experiencing a server problem, but check it out in a day or so.
Personally, I wouldn't waste my time on this site. The site has been over run with a few guys that think they own it. Nothing but hijacked threads and grab *** games amongst most these guys and the moderators seem to approve. Used to be some knowledgable people but most have left in disgust.
chopperweb.info is a builders site with some very knowledgeable guys. It isn't to bad as far as the egos go. Tends to be a little slow in comparison to a bigger site like this one.
