i am building a custom bike. im down to putting the starter in and i have a minor problem. i have a softail frame with a ultima 120 ci motor. the tansmission is a rsd6 from custom chrome. my starter is a spyke 1.8 super. my problem is with the speed sensor installed tha hot leg coming off the soleniod to the starter housing is hitting the speed sensor. i dont know if they make a starter that would be clocked differently or if a stock starter is smaller than mine. i was told i would need this bigger starter due to the bigger ci motor even though i have compression releases built in. has anyone ran into this before? the help would be very appreciated. thanks.
