I looked and I have the same little box, so it is a stock piece. I don't have a TMCC wiring diagram, but I do have a HD softail manual I can check later.
That would be great if you have time. I haven't picked up a shop manual yet, but it is about time I did.
On another note I just noticed a missing tooth on my final drive belt, several others are cracked. Trying to decide if I should do it myself or have the shop take care of it. The estimate was $800 at an indy mechanic.
I've got a 2007 Thunder Mountain Keystone. Bought it on eBay in early 2008 for $22K. It has a 120 cubic inch Screaming Eagle racing engine on it. Love the bike. It's easy to ride, comfortable, and draws a lot of attention wherever I go. Lost the lens cover for my tail light during the recent Myrtle Beach rally. Anyone know where I can find a replacement?
I just changed my final drive belt, twice. Once by a shop, and then once myself because the shop did not do a good job. When I did it myself it seemed a daunting task, but with some help from the shop manual, and online site "Fix my hog" I got it done and it wasn't as difficult as it first seemed. It took a few hours, but mostly because I was going slow and looking and checking things out as I went. Lot's of little things to get right or it won't run the same, or for very long.
I need a favor. The run/brake/turn controller I ordered finally arrived. When I went to install it, I noticed a black box in the place where the controller was supposed to go (between the wire harness and turn signals). Being the second owner of the bike, I'm not sure if it is a stock or an aftermarket part. I took some pictures and I was hopping someone could check their bike to see if they have the same box.
When I remove the box, and install the new r/b/t controller, the brake lights and turn signals don't work. When I install the new r/b/t controller with the existing box the turn signals work but the brake lights flash 3 times then shut off.
I called up the manufacturer of the r/b/t controller (Cyclevisions) and got no help. I was told that they would not warranty the controller since I bought it from Chromeglow.com
I gave up, removed the r/b/t controller and have the new fender light as a running light.
That looks like the module that Harley makes that turns your rear turn signals into brake lights also. I had that module on my Road King and CVO Wideglide I used to own..

I talked to Chris at ChromeGlow today, very helpful guy btw, and he said the same thing. He was very knowledgeable about TMC bikes and what they came with. He said TMC installed a Harley turn/run/brake module on their builds. He mentioned that the Harley unit isn't the best, but I shouldn't need the unit I bought from him.
I dropped off the bike to have the drive belt replaced today, but when I get it back Chris said he would help trouble shoot why my running lights aren't working.
hello there just wanted to put out there if anyone knows where i can get the back seat set-up for my 07 TM keystone my wife would be greatly appreciative...lol
