I'm not a master motorcycle tech. I just have patience and a garage. I need direction, type of head (lol), pistons, rods. Everything on the bike is there except the motor.
seems like non take this serious, a young guy with huge *****. ok thanks for the help you esteemed motorcycle gentlement, this is built hog 2, this time my dad isnt paying nor is he helping, nor does he know who big a 146 really is..... i need a crank, heads, rods, cam, (16 holes for rods in case). im working my *** off right now so i can burn crotch rockets later down the line. help would be nice
Okay I'll jump in,but you will have to do the leg work the same way most of us started.
146 is your number start with cylinders that will fit the spigot bores of your cases. You have to decide how you want to get there big bore, short stroke for example, once you decide on that combo then you can think about who will supply the parts.
There are a lot of engine parts suppliers that could set you up with all the reciprocating parts you need to fill those STD's.It is not going to be cheap.
How do you plan to feed the motor fuel carb or EFI? Then you have ignition to think about.Even after the motor is finished you will need a clutch to hold that thing back.
Try some of the big suppliers of parts S&S for example.
good luck and have fun
