A friend of mine and myself are buiding him a custom. I will keep you guys posted with progress. Here are pics of the first day. A littel mock up to get ready.
It is a hardtail. S&S motor that has been built. The motor had a few miles on it when he got it. He got a deal on the Frame Tranny and motor. Apparently some Rub build a bike, had the motorbuilt and was too much power for him and he wrecked it. Was told it was about 147 HP, we will see when we get it on the Dyno. The frame was new, some one else had started the build and my friend traded for the frame and motor and tranny, saved a little there. 80 spoke on rear and a new 80 spoke wheel for the front to mount. We did all the work and the other guy does the paint, he also done some trading on some of the items. A few more things to buy, he will have around 18 in it when he gets done. Traded for some stuff, but all the little stuff is what added up fast, Hoses, cables, clamps, switches, lights and all the extra stuff. We learned alot on this one and we have another frame already, planning on another one for a winter project.
