What are the CCA of this battery?

 

The Odyssey PC535 will produce 535Amps for 5 seconds which is all you will ever need to start your engine. Try counting out 5 seconds and imagine cranking your engine on the starter in all that time. No other lead acid motorcycle battery of a similar size comes even close to an Odyssey for starting power.

 

Curious...how does compression releases void your warranty...when they are drilled on the pushrod side of the motor for compression releases. I have sold quite a few motors, and maybe I overlooked it, but had no one ever tell me that, or did I ever read that they would void your warranty. They help you motor start easier, how can that void your warranty. If warranty is the issuse and you have a problem, just take the releases out and put the plugs back in before you take it to the shop.

 

The new RevTech 110" do not have the extra hole on the push rod side of the motor....the heads would have to come off to drill out the new location for the releases. I totally agree, they make starting the motor very easy.....somebody at Revtech was asleep when the company talked about compression releases.

 

How about the Spike compression releases, we have use a few, the ones that are built in with the spark plugs, you gotta pay attention when putting them in, but they work well, we have done probably three sets. You have to use a different longer plug, think its a plug that goes in the ford triton motor, but they work really well.

 

535 cca? that ought to be enough to start most engines.
