Default Black Fire Wet Diamond Kit

Hello to all in the detailing forum...

I just wanted to drop in and let you know about a new to me product I used. Over the years I was never very particular on keeping my bikes clean. I recently traded my Black denim 2017 Road Glide for a Vivid Black 2020 Road Glide. My denim bike was fairly easy to clean and I actually never washed it, just sprayed it down with Fortify Quick Coat Shine Armor and wiped it down. It actually looked pretty amazing!!!

When I purchased the new Vivid Black Bike I really wanted to get the paint protected. I had a mishap 300 miles in, and was rear ended on 95 south in NC on the way to a funeral. I was ok, but t my bike ended up with 12 k worth of damage. I just recently got the bike back and gave it a thorough cleaning yesterday.

I reached out to EagleFan1 here in the forums to get some advice and he gave me numerous tips and options of products that he had first hand knowledge of. I chose the black Fire Wet Diamond kit and the process was easy and the results were amazing. The paint feels like glass..... I did everything by hand....I first Corrected the paint, then sealed it and then spray waxed it....

EagleFan1, Thank you again for your information, it was great info and I am quite happy with the results. I will be doing the wifes street glide tomorrow!!!!

I use 3D towel clean. But always use a dedicated microfiber cleaner. Im over the top but this is how I do it.
Wash on hot with ALL FREE AND CLEAR
Wash on hot with MF cleaner
Another wash with nothing but water
Dry on low
Never use fabric softener or dyer sheets

Is there anything else I need to do for my paint? I used the Black Fire Wet Diamond kit as suggested and man it is beautiful.... Now that it is sealed, can I just wash and use the spray in the kit correct? Do I need to do anything else other than ride, lol?

Thank you again for your input!!!

Use proper washing and drying techniques is most important now. Dont throw away all of that hard work.

If you sealed it with wet diamond, you don't have to use the spray wax. If you do use it, the paint will act like the wax not the sealant. Its all personal preference.
Its a great combo though, used to be my go to for a while.
