Not striking a nerve at all. Just want to know the thought process of the not touching paint after foaming compared to wiping with your QD.
Ive used Adams tire cleaner before, worked well. 3D one, yes on that. I have not used the 3M offering. Im pretty stocked up on Scholls, Menzerna, and CarPro stuff.
Im glad your way works for you. Again just trying to figure out the thought process.

3D is good stuff. Love HD Speed. Wolfgang's Uber and Instant Spritz too. I think process is more important than product, if you get a good combo/system down the bike can get pretty glossy.

being super new to the detailing world, it's overwhelming

everyone has the best product, their finish is the most durable, their shine the shiniest, their gloss the deepest rich gloss you ever saw

so far, I've yet to get one bad piece of advice from Eagle.....everything he's shared has been spot on and corroborated by other expert sources...he knows his ****

he's not a pot stirrer....when he's asking for someone's reasoning, he's not one of those jerks who are taking a veiled shot, he genuinely wants to know the reason

anyhow...just trying to keep the peace here

You lost me. I thought we were talking about detailing. I love detailing. I keep everything shiny. I have no clue what you are talking about.

Here is my bike with Turtle Wax & Blue Magic on it and the girlfriend's car with HD Speed. I'm lazy I like one steps or 2 unless the paint is really bad. Her car is an 2006 & my bike is an 2009.
