Dont use any opf those aerosal "Detailers" on ceramic coatings. Tried it once and it was a absolute mess. Had to bucket wash the fairing it was so bad. Never again.
Uber and Echo2 for me, I use so much of the 2 it just makes sense. I mix up a gallon at a time of WW and just use that as a QD
One thats getting great reviews is Dream maker by P&S
I kinda like the idea of a rinse less wash and a detailed that leaves a good shine. Looks like it takes different dilution rates though.
I feel like 15:1 worked perfect when I used it recently....I used it as a wash and then when I was done, I went over the entire bike again, but instead of covering each part completely in the solution, I just did a quick spray and then used a nice quality mf towel to buff it to a shine
then I circle the bike about 10 times with an inspection light....looking for anything I missed
I think it would work great as a detailer diluted to 20:1 or even more, but a bike is pretty small and by using it at 15:1 I'm only having to put a little more time into buffing it out
I don't know if you get Sonax products but they have a product called Brilliant Shine Detailer. It is not the easiest to get on with and plenty of folk have talked of the smeary finish it might cause.
Some one decided to mix it with a more traditional detailer and tried Chemical Guy's V7 50:50. The results they reported were outstanding.
I have mixed Sonax BSD with Kinish Kare FK425 but with 30% BSD. The less BSD makes it easier to apply. I get a slick finish that beads water nicely. Great on the car. Don't use it on the bike.
On the bike I just use the FK425 after drying to help remove the water marks.
i noticed that when i used bug slide and then just buffed it off, it left a nice finish
someone mentioned something to me that made me rethink using is alone, bug and tar removers can be high octane
there are chemicals in these that actual dissolve organic matter which is why they do great for bugs, but once I put bug and tar remover on a surface, I always rinse it off with water and wipe it down with a WW
I don't know what's in that stuff but Ill pass on it. Look at what Uber or Echo2 can do and the dilution ratio. Hands down they win. Now compare price, same thing. No comparison really

18 bucks and I've been using the same bottle for about 6 months, it goes a long way....and it looks really good on a ceramic sealant or coating...and there isn't any propane in it
here's the real benefit of using a great detailer and waterless wash like ECH2O....sure it works great, and leaves a sparkling shine, but it has quality lubricants which help to reduce marring while cleaning and polishing
I'm going to detail my bike again but this time when I do, i won't have to do as much to correct the surface, I put a quality sealant on it after I corrected and I've been washing and detailing it properly since
one of the leading lights I always consider when doing anything as far as detailing goes is to do as little harm as possible while doing what I'm doing
