I have a DI vessel in my garage with a hose connector in and out so it filters the water in real time. I have a meter that shows dissolved solids. Still 0ppm. I don't know how many gallons it will filter before the resin needs changing. I use it for final rinse off after washing to limit water spotting and for the clothes iron.
So I bought a bottle of P&S Dream Maker to try out. Tests vehicles were my wife's new Envison and my bike. The Envision is gray with a lot of metal flake, you guys know what the snake venom on the bike looks like. Both vehicles are sealed with Wolfgang SIO2 paint sealant.
Dream maker was used as a drying aid after a bucket wash. It was nice to use and the drying towels glided across the paint, this sealant is extremely slick anyway. Did it add any gloss, not sure, both vehicles have recently been polished and sealed. It definitely helped with no water spotting, zero spotting.
All in all, its a nice product. Ill use it on the next black or dark vehicle and that will give the true test
When ever it came out there was P&S Bead Maker. The hype around it didn't last long! On a UK detailing site it doesn't get a mention when people are looking for a quick detailer.
I have been using Sonax BSD and Finnish Kare 425 mixed 30:70 respectively. It has a level of protection and the 425 makes the BSD go on easy and streak free.
The idea of mixing BSD came about from a post I read on a detailing website where the person mixed it 50:50 with Chemical Guy's V07.
im actually a fan of Bug Slide... got a bunch of other ones that i'm not a fan of
I'm probably the last person on the planet to be giving advice about anything for detailing.
I'm about as lazy as they come and it's unusual for me to even wash my bike more than about twice a year.
That is not really a big issue now that I have become an infrequent, short distance, fair weather rider but when I was a pavement burner putting on tens of thousands of miles a year Bug Slide was a Godsend for me and actually kept my bikes looking very presentable.
My gf got me pinnacle ceramic crystal mist detail spray. Ais this any good on just a waxed vehicle? If not some thing else in a spry bottle that you guys recommend? Tia.
Pinnacle makes top notch stuff. QDs should be used to clean fingerprints or very light dust, they are not designed to clean anything more then that.
It will not degrade any LSPs

Thanks, I thought you used it after a wash to give a little protection and gloss.
