Default Under carriage

Picked up a used scooter and the bikes pretty clean, except for underneath. It’s greasy grimy nasty. What do you guys recommend? I don’t want to take a chance ruining chrome/polished parts. And I don’t have access to a lift.

A bottle of Simple Green and a scrub brush. Maybe even a toothbrush.
Pro tip: Use your wife's toothbrush, not your own.
And don't forget to use the "show towels" to wipe it down.
You can thank me later.

simple green is my go to for this kind of stuff, great advice on using the wife's toothbrush, that undercarriage is nasty

you can put it on a lift to get better access, but the lift gets in the way so i lay a blanket down on the cement and go at it with simple green

I use two spray bottles, one with water, one with simple green
a tooth brush
a bunch of old shop rags

i got at it with rags, the toothbrush, and simple green and then use the spray bottle to rinse it down....then i'll wipe it down again with clean rags

i repeat this process until rags start coming back clean, my final test is go poking around with a white detailing q-tip

i don't detail the undercarriage like this every time i wash, this is a once a year thing maybe
