If a lot of other people did it before me, at some point I may try it.

I use ballistol on wood and metal. I use windex om chrome and glass. But I bet harley sells something that will work.

Have you ever looked what true detailers use? Guys that do it for a living. There are some really cheap detailers that will use the cheapest stuff they can find, but their not using pledge.

Check out Autogeek or Autopia sometime.

Glass cleaner on chrome, probably because it wipes away and doesnt streak. 1000 products can do that.

But are we comparing the results you get when paying for it? Plus I can buy pledge at IGA.

I can get stuff from amazon the next day, I kind of plan things out if I need things
I dont pay for it, I do it myself.
Use what you want. People that understand detailing, enjoy doing it, have pride in ownership, know how ridiculous the pledge on any vehicle is.

If it works for you great, use it on your truck to, along with your "Fancy" Meguiers products. You do you!
@kel03 was right.

Not sure if this means you don't like the product, or that I don't use it all the time. But I am not going to rub in and buff any thing at gas station, or dailly when I come home.

When I went to Alaska i used pledge every 100 miles, about, on my windshield.

Again, sure if I am paying someone, he can use all kinds of fancy stuff to make it look good.

Its not like I made this up myself.

I get it free .. I just ****** it from the sink cabinet when the wife's not looking.

I am surprised with this thread of those political post condemning Pledge. This Forum had me thinking everyone used it.

Works great on White Pearl with Harley's blue tint. I rarely use any water unless it's already wet. Don't ever recall using a car wash detergent on it.

Just hit it with the blower, dust and spray it on a cotton cloth and wipe it down. Hit it again. Doesn't look greasy to me. Takes me 10 minutes at most.

I don't let toys make a slave of me however...

Only you, and a couple others, would type "Political" in a detailing thread. Keep it over on the POD were you are loved

Seriously... You need to reread down thru there.

I said I used Pledge in post 5.

You fussed about what I did in 8.

I was polite again saying where I learned the trick in post 9.

Then you fussed and spanked others in 17,23 and 25.

I was not being political. Just said what worked for me.

I'm cool with whatever you use.

Just post what you like. You don't need to try to cookie cut others for what they use.

You don't see one word above about me saying anything about what you use

I wasn't being political. You were.

If you think I was, point out those post up thru there for me.

PS... 92 EVO. SORRY ABOUT THE DISRUPTION. I JUST WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT I DID WRONG.

YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEMS WITH MY POST BEFORE THIS ONE? THEY ARE ALL JUST AN OPINION THAT WORKS FOR ME. NOTHING MORE.
