Default Vivid Black inner fairing

Need some advice from our Detailing Gurus.
2022 Roadglide Special.
This is the 1st time I've owned a bike with the Vivid Black inner fairing.
I don't want it to look like crap in a year.
How do I care for it? Right now it is 8 days old almost 700 miles and it is loaded with dust.
TIA

I treat my painted (glossy black) inner fairing (RG) the same as the rest of the painted surfaces. I wash and wax it when cleaning the bike.

The washing and rinsing part may be a little different than the rest of the bike in that I use less soap and water to avoid getting the instruments and radio more wet than I have to. Then use a high quality microfiber towel to dry before waxing.

If the inner fairing is just dusty from sitting in the garage, I use a microfiber cloth to dust it off. I gently pull the microfiber cloth across the places where it is dusty, which is primarily behind the windshield for me. But waxing the painted area will make it easier to get dust and even bugs off without having to use a lot of pressure or effort.

I hardley ever use wax anymore. Dust and pollen is so bad where I live, and wax is a dust magnet. Sealant or ceramic coat it.
When dealing with black paint, I use extra caution anytime I touch the paint. Old bike was vivid black and my wife's CTS is black. Its another full time job.
Wash as normal with quality products. After you get protection on the paint, dry with a electric leaf blower. Blot dry where you need to. Never drag a dry MF across the paint.
Sure you can do the opposite of all of those things, but sooner or later that black paint will show how it was cared for.

For sure, my last bike was a vivid black streetglide.
I washed the bike yesterday, currently there is nothing on the bike (wax or ceramic). I've never used ceramic and almost bought the Griot's 3 in 1 ceramic wax yesterday.
Would this be a good start? using the 3 in 1 ?

I love the Vivid Black on our Softails but it seems to be relatively soft paint. Just looking at it and it get swirls or a scratch. As careful and knowledgeable that I am using quantity cleaning product and the best microfiber towels it is the hardest color to keep flawless.

I have not used that product, but it does get good reviews on the detailing forums. It sure will be a good start!

Dont go buying a bunch of stuff until you do some research on taking car of the paint. Thousands of options, and even more opinions. Hell some will even tell you to use pledge

No Doubt!

Eagle, I lied, I did use "Paint Guard +" Since there is nothing on the paint, and riding season is winding down, Would you recommend a couple coats?
I ask this cause today it is 70 degrees and low humidity and I have it and want to protect the paint before the cold weather settles in.

if your paint is in great shape, you may want to look into CanCoat

I sealed my entire inner fairing the first time I corrected and put a quality LSP on...my signature pic is CanCoat alone, no topper

Gyeon makes great products, you can use their PREP as well....it's been my favorite prep so far

after I applied CanCoat, I maintained with ECH2O....that LSP lasted 40k miles or so....high praises for sure

I was going to look into this for next year, I have a very small window "Today" where it is in the 70's.
