Default Update

So I did buy the fender that was listed in the classifieds, but I hit a wall with Dr Colorchip. Apparently this is a color they have not made a kit for yet, and since they don’t have it in house, and none of the paint codes that I supplied to them turned up anything, they said they would need some kind of sample so they (or their paint supplier) could match it. They suggested that I send them something small like a bolt or swatch from a dealer. Well there aren’t any blue bolts on my bike (I don’t know what the woman was thinking) and I doubt my dealer would wanna give me a swatch, if they even have one. But then I remembered I have color matched mid frame heat deflectors on my bike, so I’m gonna call them back today, and see what the process is and how long it would take to have a kit made if I send them one of the deflectors-it should only cost a few bucks to ship one of those, they’re not that big. I still want to get this kit from them to repair my fender and also fix the gouge on my outer fairing, so I’ll see what they say when I call them. If anyone has access to or know the paint code(s) for Harley’s Billiard Blue, let me know- the ones I found were on HDpaintcodes.com, there were three or four codes for my color but none of them helped.

I would definitely take it if you don’t need it. Be glad to cover shipping or whatever you need for it

That number on the back, the 98601 EKP, I wonder if that is a paint code or the HD part number…
