"GLARE PROFESSIONAL POLISH will bond to your vehicle’s paint through a covalent chemical bond"
Glare should actually bond with your CC and make it harder and stronger. It has saved my a$$ quite a few times.
It has a special plcae on my detailing shelf and is my go-to product for correcting problem spots in clear coat.
I like the stuff and I have had excellent results with it. It might be exactly what you need!
It's worth giving it a try and let us know your results.

Always use the least aggressive method first.
For paint correction, you may find on soft CC, that M205 is all you need.
Glare is a different animal. You may find that you can use Glare as a polish and sealant/LSP.
For paint correction rub Glare into paint (like a rubbing compound) until is disappears.
Repeat until you obtain desired results. It only takes a dime size amount.
This is the step that creates the covalent chemical bond to your finish.
From what I understand Glare and your CC/paint meld together to become one.
Final step apply Glare as you would a wax layer on top of the paint, let dry, wipe off.
Glare may help strengthen the soft Clear Coat on the Vivid Black and make it more durable.

"From what I was told the product actually softens and dissolves the edges of the micro-fine edges of scratches (swirl marks, etc) and fills in the gaps with a chemical soup mix of "dissolved clear coat, paint and itself" therefor re-constutiting a smoother surface which reduces the optical reflection of "sharp edges scratches and improves overall reflection of a smooth surface."
Every time you polish paint you remove more of the protective clear coat. From what I understand Glare adds to your CC. A product that does a "permanent" correction without "temporary" fillers and the need to polish and remove paint is a good thing.
There are many "different" products out there from fine Carnauba's to very shiny synthetics.
Glare has its place. That's all I ever used on my bikes. It looks pretty darn good and it lasts.
Please give me a little more detail than "my paint looks like hell...I'm sick of the way it looks".
Does it have swirls and fine scratches that you can see in direct sunlight?
Is it dull and flat? Can you post a pic? I'll be glad to help.

My bike has fine scratches, swirl marks. I removed the factory 2-up seat and have a solo on it now and there are some flat areas under the rear factory seat that I've had to cover with a fender bib. I'm at my wits end with this paint, I've babied it since day 1, this is my second vivid black harley.
I've been looking at a Griots 6" polisher and using 4" pads on it to try to fix this mess. I will post photos when the sun comes back out, my be a day or 2
thank you
