Default Cleaning & Protecting Natural Engine Cases

Does anyone have any ideas or tricks for cleaning and protecting my natural engine cases? I used Simple Green and it worked OK, but there are still those white deposits on them, that are hard to get off. What about protecting the cases once they're clean??

If you are talking about the black engine casing then simple green and an old toothbrush should do the trick. After spray with either Pig Spit or S100 Engine Brightner

If there natural finished, just use S-100 bike wash.

After washing and rinsing with Simple Green or S100 or whatever use a blower to get the water out. Really saves on drying and spots.

I've also started giving the heads a polish with autoglym metal polish- it works nicely
