RE: What do you guys use to clean your windshield?
Soak a towel or large rag with water. Lay on windshield. Do something else (clean the rest of your sled) for fifteen minutes. Wipe off bugs. It's that easy. No chemicals needed!
RE: What do you guys use to clean your windshield?
Water on a wet towel. Drap it over the windshield for a few minutes and the bugs just float right off with a dry rag. The price is right too. I put Plexus on it now and then for some reason...not sure it really does anything good....or bad.

Novus #1 - with a micro-fiber towel since the bike was new and windshield still looks showroom clean. If you have some scratches, use Novus #2 first. Most H-D shops carry the stuff.

I use PIG-GLOW POLISH. It is a water based polish with a flattened teflon and other polymers to fill in any scratches. It is stocked at all the HD dealers in my area. You can information online at pig-glow.com and hawgwarsh.com. Made in America and environmentally friendly.
Wide Open and Cycle Connections Magazine detail their bikes with it at shows in the Mid-West.
I use it to repair my scratched DVD's and scratched plastic lenses as well.
