Default 2005 fxd

looking to upgrade the exhaust on my 2005 fxd. i would like a power increase but i don't want to sacrifice sound to get it. right now I'm looking at the samson ripsaws and the bassani road rage 2-1 and the patriot defender. which one would be louder and give better performance as a whole. also i can't seem to find many photos of these exhausts on my model year so I'm curious if either of those pipes will make it harder to check the oil. any input you guys have is greatly appreciated.

After looking at some images on google, it looks like the Samsons might interfere with checking the transmission oil level. I have Samson Conquest Wildcats on my 2001 SG and the rear head pipe is too close to the transmission dip stick to check the level without pulling the pipe.

The Wildcats are good pipes and sound great without baffles, but I am going to replace them in the near future because I don't like the flared pipes or the issue with checking the tranny oil level.

If you want power and loud go with a Thunderheader. It does make it a little harder to check the oil on a hot engine, but not much. Mechanics gloves make it a breeze.

bassani propipe or thunderheader have good sounding 2 in 1. I personnally run a propipe and love it. 2 in1 will make the best power
