Super Glide Forward Control's
Hey all, first post, happy to be here! I bought my first Harley after 5 years on the Suzuki Marauder VZ 800. I got an '08 Super Glide FXDC and am very happy with it thus far. The previous owner installed forward controls and I'm just looking for info/advice on switching to farther forward mid controls. The rear brake is just a bit farther reach than I'd like being 5'8. I'm assuming I can go back to the original mid controls but have also heard of farther forward mid controls which I think may be best. Is it a pretty manageable job to make this switch? Will I need any other parts other than the kit on the HD website with the new brackets and pedals? Any and all info would be welcomed, thanks!!

Two things you could look into to solve your problem without having to install completely new foot controls. 1. you could adjust the brake lever so the pedal is closer to you. 2. you could look into the reduced reach relocation brackets the move the controls about an inch back.
