Handle Bar Question for Street Bob

Cousin wants to change bars out on his Street Bob, I was curious if the 12inch apes would fit without changing cables and wires etc?

Stock cable will be just fine with 12" apes. I put on Road 6 12" apes and had no issues with the cables. They seem to fit better with 12's rather than the stock 8" mini apes. The wires I just cut, ran internally and soldered them back together.

I think in 09 the handlebars went from 8" to 10". I have an 09, and I added 12" z bars with a 1" riser extension and used stock cables just fine.

I fitted 12" Burly bars on my 2014 SB. Everything fitted fine but the brake line and throttle cables could have been a bit longer.

12" will work just fine. i have road 6 customs as well but there is no need to cut wires. The plugs are the smaller type and fit no problem for the bars
