pulled clutch w basket off
Compensator came lose,got that fixed.while clutch bssket was off the clutch lever got pulled.
1st half of the lever pull is slacked.
When searching about compensator i ran acrosd a thread about some had dine the same thing. But now i cant find that thread and the fix.
Someone help me out please

Just re do it, your friction disks may be bound up, take the spring off and jiggle (thats a technical term) the disks to make sure theyre free. Use a small paint brush to spread some fluid around the outside, Tighten spring carefully. You can back out the adjustment screw and use something to push the rod all the way back into the ramps. replace adjuster until you feel it touch (lightly) back out 1/2 turn, tighten lock nut. take slack out of cable and snap it a couple times your disks should move out/in smoothly, finnish adjusting cable slack.
Edit: just reread your OP, If you didnt release the Spring then just snap the lever a couple times and re-adjust It'll pop free.
