Default FLD beach bars?

I am thinking about some beach bars on my fld. Anyone done this? I am 5'8 and current bars are ok, but I do find myself struggling on longer rides by having to reach. I like the profile of bikes with beach bars and hoping it will have some decent pullback for a more comfortable ride.

IMO, beach bars make you a human parachute with the windblast. Try pull back risers with stock bars to reduce your reach.
Beach bars also make lane splitting more difficult.

I put hollywood bars (stock softail slim bars) with 3.5 drag specialties pull back risers on my bike..no human sail effect for me, comfortable sitting position. Just about 6' tall here.

+1 on the wind... I have friends that have been passing a set around for years. After a while I guess it just isn't worth the hassle.

Default Risers

A pair of pullback risers should cure your reaching problem.

Beach bars will make your reach worse. They do not have much rise and very little pull back. They are also wide, usually around 36 inches across.
If you like the beach bars you should consider geting some pull back risers to go with em.
I am 5'7" and when I used em I had to go to 6 inch pull back risers. They were fine after that.
