I would find out when the Factory Service Rep was stopping by my local dealer. Then I would make sure that he left with the light when he went home to Milwaukee.

why??? I know Harley is all powerful BUT I dont think even they can control road conditions
A little update I spent some time trying to remove the rest of the glass around the edge of the housing and has proven to be very difficult to the point of just breaking into shards. With that said dismantling another stock lens without breaking it first would be nearly impossible. I've considered this a lost cause. Also did contact insurance company to hear them say no as the damage is less than my deductible. I think as a last resort I might try contacting the manufacturer to see the possibility of ordering just the lens not going to hold my breath lol . I know who manufactures it I think Harley has proprietary rights to it all so will probably be told I need to get a new one.

Simple the Factory Service Rep can take it back to the engineers, then hopefully they can get a redesign done so that it can take a better impact.
My Dad was a Factory Service Rep for a lift truck manufacture. He would regularly bring busted parts back and but them on the engineers desk and tell them " This should not have broken Fix It". This was on things he thought were poorly designed. It made the company much better.

Yeah, businesses operated like that 20 years ago. Nowadays, the engineers would get your dad thrown out of their office for being too negative, wasting their valuable time, and hurting the self esteem of the designer who was extremely proud that he saved the company a nickel per unit by using the thinnest glass he could source.
JW speaker I believe is the manufacturer. I know TL does not sell replacement parts. That must have been a huge rock! Wiped my Daymaker clean and that is one thick lens.
