My Daymaker headlight took a rock on the way home today I saw the rock bounce off the road didn't think much about it then I started to wipe it down and saw the damage. Does anyone know if the lens or glass can be replaced ? Hate such an expensive light go to waste
Wow that sucks.....yah I think you'll be spending coin in a brand new one....have never heard of replacing the lens. That thing is sealed from moisture, so not just a quick lens replace.
Yeah does suck I wouldn't get another one if I can't fix it. Nice bright light and all but pretty big loss for a head lamp. Already put the stock light back in. Well I guess it could of been something worse. But any advice on how to fix would be appreciated!
Yeah it was size ping pong ball really didn't think it made contact you think you would of heard or even felt it hit. If I would have I could of done something about it when I saw it come off the truck going down the FWY bummer deal unhappy is an understatement!
The price of the HL, I'd turn it in to my insurance. That's why I have insurance.
Then I'd buy the Kuryakyn model. Cheaper and it has a different material for a lens.
