I like the way the sideshots look.
Actually, I like the whole bike. Tastefully done.
I was thinking of putting the Big City Thunder baffles in the SEII's.
Are they as loud as the sideshots?
Wonder if I'd have to rejet with the BCT

Thanks! The BCTs are deeper and throatier than any exhaust I've heard. Bass frequencies tend to be more omnipresent and therefore seem louder. I think BCTs are louder at idle than the Side Shots. They also have a more percussive crack on ignition. I think it's an awesome (but not obnoxious) sound and it always turns heads. They tend to mellow out at speed though.

You may run slightly leaner with the BCTs if you don't rejet. Just slightly though. I remapped my PCIII and was running way rich. I could have stayed with the same map I was running with the SE-2s and stock baffles. If you want a sound that lets cagers know you're there when in traffic without spending loads of cash, the BCTs are a great deal. And hey, you get a free t-shirt!

Hope this helps.

yeah mate same bike. I have 'smooth' wheel option with basic tinny forwards from dealer! i'm watching some kury stuff on ebay, iso pegs grips etc. have you seen the new 2into1 biig radius? a couple of guys have said on the thread they reckon they wouldn't suit the FXDC!

I went for a quick blast this arvo with a mate who has just traded his 1200 sporty in on a honda 1100blackbird. he was impressed with look and the fact that around a long tight radius bend I used all of the rear rubber. I haven't been on jap bike for that long I forgot the getup those buggers got. I ordered a K&N cleaner last night. we have O2 sensors here with in and out meters. I need to sort out what i can and can't do with it.

still working out which exhaust and tuner!!

Happy with yours too??

trusty1.... i think I have the identical bike as you... i have the V&H shorties standing by for install...but, the side3 shots are looking sweet.. I think there's too many with the big radius pipes....look cool, but not as unisues as they use to be
