Has anyone used the 91017-10 saddlebag supports from HD? Wondering what anyone thinks about them. I like the fact that you don't have to mess with the turn signals. Don't want to leave them on really. If there is any quick release types that I don't have to relocate turn signals I'm open to suggestions.

It's more than just the supports. It's the size of the bag mounted on the supports that determines sig relocation or not.
Yep. Gonna get bags that fit in between shocks and lights. Maybe throw overs. Most mounts use the hole that the turn signals are mounted in. Don't want to move them.
These HD ones work the best. I have them. There are pics of them on my profile album. You can see them with bags off and on. Don't have to move turn signals.

I have these on my 2008 FXDWG. Harley say's these won't work if you have the quick release docking system, but they work fine. If you don't have a spring compressor for your shocks, you will need a second person to put the top shock bolts back in. These bag supports are very well built compared to some of the cheaper ones out there.

Don't these mount over the shock to the stud? I was thinking you didn't have to remove the entire shock, just the nut and cover. Maybe it is a bit different on an 08?
