I wanted black tubes so I got the screaming eagle. Other than threading more initially I don't see a the quickies being that much better. I don't know if the quickees are labeled but I like how mine where marked intake/exhaust. That way if you take them back out the go right back where they where. I always follow the put back where they came from principle.

Have heard good reviews on the SE prs lately, a few reports years ago of lock nuts cracking. I like how they taper - should help avoid any contact with the pr tubes.

In the S&S pr instructions, there is some reference about intake and exhaust prs but I called S&S and at least for the Quickees the prs are all the same so no chance to mess that up.

Is it an absolute must that you have adjustables?

I had some but am back to a set of non-adjustables...long story short, one less thing that may or may not fail.

I was trying to track down a noise and it wasn't the PRs in the end, but I didn't know for sure till I changed them out...wasted money for me.

Bike runs just as good with a set of stock rods for me. You are able to remove the rocker boxes with the tank on the bike also.

I had FM pushrods, they are horrible to adjust. Switched to SE tapper pushrods, they work great!
