2014 charcoal pearl Street Bob, being fitted with 12 or 14" black ape hangers, (probably Carlini evil apes, at this point).
Which would you go with? Black or Chrome risers? If I go with 14" apes, I'm keeping the risers the same height as stock I think. If I go 12's, I'll come up a bit.
Just wondering what you would go with?
I've seen pics of both and they both look cool as hell. But since my bike is grey, I'm "leaning" towards chrome so I have a nice contrast. But I'm also not offended by a blacked out beast either..........Ugh.
If your trees are black which I think they are. I would stick with chrome to break it up. Black levers and chrome mirrors. Or vice versa. All black is cool but breaking it up makes everything pop. Post up some pics when your done.
you forgot brass . . . I actually have a pair of LA Choppers 1 1/2" brass risers (like new) for sale if interested. I think there is a photo in my photo folder in you want to see them.
I have chrome risers holding up black 16 in chubbys, looks good to me. I also have black powder coated aux light bar. The end result being the black bars and light bar ki da frame the chrome headlight, trees, riser etc.
