I need some help on pricing of a 2001 Dyna T-sport with about 20k on it and mostly all stock in pristine condition. A close family friend is wanting to trade it to me with cash for my Street Glide. I don't ride enough right now to justify having a $20,000 bike in the garage.
He has told me to tell him what it's worth and Im having trouble coming up with a number. I don't want to low ball ball him but it needs to be fair for both of us.
That's the base I would use. I certainly wouldn't pay over the 6 for any reason. There's an Electra glide here I was interested in. Lost interest when I found out they have it priced 5k over book value. I don't pay for low miles or add ons. But make a deal you can both live with using book values as a base.
