I am having an issue with high speed wobble lately. I have a 2012 fxdc with meteor me888s, sdc fork brace, true track stabilizer, and harley 1/4 fairing. I have a gpr stabilizer coming in next week. Here is my problem. At 85-85 mph on the freeway going in a straight line my bike starts to rock back and forth side to side as if the wind is pushing it. Anyone else experience this? Wil, the steering stabilizer help with this? The bars don't seem to be wobbling. It also just started doing this recently it seems. Or maybe I am just riding faster.😄. Any input is appreciated. Thanks
You shouldn't need a steering stabilizer.
You've checked tire press? (Low press causes wobble.)
And wheel bearings ? and wheel alignment?
You have True track from and rear? Are they aligned correctly?
And check your factory motor mounts.
I have never needed a steering stabilizer. When I used to stand on the seat or drifting thru mountain roads.

Thanks. I will check that out. Seems like a fairing issue. But it never did it before.
I was starting to get that on my FXDXT, but at 100+mph. Then it started when backing off the gas on steep downhills. ALL other things being correct, a tech said to properly set up the neck bearing with 1/8 extra turn after fallaway spec met and the wobble disappeared. Never had a stabilizer.
