Now the waiting an wanting starts! Least its winter. Kirby had mine all summer. Longest 2 months ever. Total of 5 months down sucked.
Oh man your not kidding. I think the bike has been down for 2 or 3 weeks and it's killing me. I don't think the dyna has sat that long for the last 3 or 4 years... I've already cleaned up all the parts and cleaned up all the bolts. I guess when I get the powder coated stuff back I can chase all the threads.. That'll take an hour haha. Ahh! I'm going nuts!

The guys with 3 feet of snow in their yard are cursing us and calling us pansies haha
Yup. We did get some measurable snow in the county. Call me a ***** but I have a heated seats, bars, gloves and a jacket. We get into the teens down here in SLO and my bike is my main transport next to the city transit bus.

Yes, yes we are! We don't even have much snow here but at least it's nice and cold so we can make it on the hill. I had two days where I was finally able to at least ride the bike to work (only a mile each way).
Took the plunge and decided that even though it's crazy busy at work that I would prep the bike for the cam swap and fork spring replacement. Took off the exhaust and AC so now bike is down for the count until I do the cams. Can't imagine what it must be like to be without for multiple weeks!
Little bit of a step forward today, couple more checks on the list at least.. Got all my powder coated parts back today and they look freaking great! Inner/outer primary, side and top trans covers, rocker covers, pushrod tubes, tappet blocks, cam cover, air cleaner, new shiter lever and foot peg mounts. Oh and while we're posting pictures of our sons, here's my boy.. He's not as much help as your guys kids haha
Loving the black on the gray
This is gonna be killer I can't wait to get the primary back together
Happy new year guys be safe tonight, I think it's time for a torpedo..
Christmas is just getting started for ya! You will have a blast putting all the new and improved parts back on as they come in. I had a lot of slow times in my build but like you are doing, try to get all the cleaning/boring stuff done.
Can't remember if you have decided on a new clutch or not?
