I got a question for you guys running d&d, and Bassani exhausts. Do any of these 2-1 pipes use the stock exhaust bracket that is under the cam cover? I was finally able to get that damn thing off and I'm going to leave it off if none of the other 2-1 pipes use it. I don't think any of them do but I'd like to double check
The notorious 2-1/4" nut.. Let's see how strong my impact is haha. Time to install the 30T pulley. Alan I've been browsing your thread. Good info man thanks for doing it
Update...
2-1/4" nut defeated... I need to clean up that Andrews pulley before I put it on. It's got some sticky crap on it to keep it from rusting while being stored I'm guessing

You're embarressing me, first on the compliment and second on how easy you made it look!
Congrats on the nut. I went through exchanging two guns before I got the right one that would do it.
Here is a pic of my '09 D&D. Might have redesigned it for '14.
Wow that's a trip.. Is that bracket welded straight to the pipe?

No way man no embarrassment intended haha. Yea that impact is crazy strong for a 1/2" drive. I was still worried but after about 5 seconds of hammering you could she her start moving. Was your pulley all covered in that sticky crap too? Don't even know what will take it off. Guess I'll try my buddies solvent tank, brake cleaner and scrubbing wouldn't touch it. I need to get me hands on a sprocket locking tool so I can torque that puppy back down. If anyone has a 70T rear pulley they want to sell let me know! Id like to avoid having to buy new from Harley
Lookin good so far. Can't even imagine what that bike will be like with a 124 and a 30t pully.
Thanks man I'm going to be afraid to ride it haha. Hey you ended up running acrs instead of manual comp releases right? What all did you have to get together to do that? Was it expensive? I'd like to go that route if it's affordable
