. Not sure I'm liking the 30t pulley, I kind of naturally like to settle at around 3k on the freeway and to cruise at 80 I now have to run it up to around 3400, I don't really care about the extra rpms but I know it's affecting the mileage. That and it seems like the belt gets much tighter once on the ground with the 30t. I might switch back to 32t but I'm not sure yet.
monster
that's why i kept mine stock my motor has plenty of power now and pulls good even in 6th at 60 mph. and my mileage averages 42 mpg and get better on the interstate when on a trip. with your power it will be the same and u will improve your mileage. its amazing with big flowing heads and the cams to support them along with the higher compression. How fast these engines turn up the rpms you just have to keep grabbing gears its instantly at the rev limiter! having a sticky rear tire that front end is going to be in the air all the time. the ME 880 200 just spins on mine in first and second but if I power shift from first to second it almost goes over back wards if i dont let off.scared the hell out of me first time I tried it.
Yea I'm leaning that direction with the pulley, I had to try it at least.. What heads are on your bike? I know hillside did their stg 4, but are they SE heads or stockers that were really opened up? What size valves?
So when you went 1/2 turn out, were you still able to get the .070" travel without adjusting the slack all the way out?
I didnt check for that. Didnt like the release point where it was. At 1/2 turn it got better but its not just off the grip like I had it with the old clutch. Now it engages about 2/3 out. Fine by me.
