Few things...
Stock hub bearing is made by Koyo in Japan and new one from HD does not say Koyo, instead IMA and still made in Japan.

My comp looks brand new (no serious wear) at about 2,400 miles on it. I was shocked and pleased at the same time!

Decided to go w/ 3 short gold and 3 green springs, which will put me at 420lbs.

Good stuff! Your comp is looking better than mine for sure... Digging the Barnett clutch, pretty high on my Wish list. Did you get the 12 ton Harbor Freight Press, any issues pressing in or out the bearing and clutch hub? Will be interested in how the clutch pull feels.

Yup I got the 12 ton harbor freight press. With 20% off coupon it came out a hair over $100. Can't beat that for the money and it works perfect.

Pressing it out was a lot easier than I thought. First you take the snap ring off for the hub and you press that out them there is a big *** snap ring that hold the bearing, so you take that off and press the bearing out.

Can't wait to feel how the clutch pull will be. Oh man what a difference in surface area comparing the stock plates to the Barnett, night and day!

Thanks man....might have to get one of those clarity derby covers later.

Velocity stack is for a Pro Mod drag bike. Now that's a whole other animal!

WINTER MODS ALL DONE!

Soon as I felt the clutch set at 420lbs I could feel the difference in pull. 100% easier pull than having the SE spring. Glad I went w/ heavier springs! Just badass I can't wait to test her on the road.
