Default Upgrade Front Suspension

Wanna upgrade the front suspension on my 14 FXDB.
Looking at drop ins from either Progressive or Works.
I don't have an unlimited budget. Wanna spend $500 or less.
I don't ride twisties often mostly city traffic and highway.
Opinions or experience to share?

I haven't heard the greatest reviews about the progressive drop ins. Not sure about the works kit tho

A single rate spring, http://store.ricorshocks.com/product_p/039-20-1001.htm, and a fork brace are worth a google

I went with the Works drop-in front end kit. I am very happy with it. The Works kit is a vast improvement over the stock HD front end. However, I cannot compare it to any other front end upgrade as I have not tried any other.

Note: I also added a Superbrace but the Superbrace came several months after the Works front end so I can differentiate the improvement of the Works set up from the Superbrace. In the end, I recommend both the Works drop-in kit and the Superbrace.

Note also that I have the 39mm front end. Some have written that the Superbrace greatly improves the 39mm front end but that on the 49mm front ends like the OP has, there is less of an improvement.
