Hey guys, great thread, Robbyville! Thanks for putting it together. I am about to get started on my Andrews 57H cam swap as soon as I figure out which other parts/ tools I need get them ordered.
Not sure if I missed this in your thread but maybe you or somebody else can answer. You went with the S&S Quickee adjustable pushrods but you replaced the lifters as well. From what I have read, the difference between the Quickees and the S&S adjustables are that for the adjustables are a bit stronger but you have to remove the tappet cover to install them. Is there a reason you still went with the quickees?

So sorry for the delayed reply and I'm sure you've already completed your work... I went with the quickees, purely for future ability to not have to remove the tappet covers. This worked well for me since I did most of my engine work in piecemeal fashion doing the heads, then later new cylinders, etc.
I have been doing the cam install and exhaust upgrade to my Dyna over the winter.
I got stopped out at installing the adjustable pushrods because I was trying to use the stock pr covers and there is simply not enough room for me to bend over and work the threads. So I have a set of pr covers coming that are like the S&S covers, a bit shorter with a longer keeper to give easy access to the adjusting of the prs.
Its a great experience to do your own. I also found everything took much longer that I thought it would but no harm in that. I have also scored some great new tools in the process of saving money
I keep looking forward to that quick mount of the exhaust and getting it buttoned up so I can flash it and go for a ride.
